California Rotary License Plate Moving Billboards for Rotary The Rotary special interest license plate is an official license plate issued by California's Department of Motor Vehicles. Proceeds from the sale of these Rotary License Plates will benefit educational and community outreach activities supported by Rotary International in California. The license plate contains the words ''Service Above Self'' and the emblem of Rotary International. It is estimated that if 20% of every Rotary club's membership in California submits an application, we will reach our minimum goal of 7,500. This is not an insurmountable number, as long as, we establish a committed TEAM of Californian Rotarians and get to work. Remember, you don't have to be a Rotarian to have a Rotary License Plate.
