California Rotary License Plates - RLP THE RACE IS ON... |
As the year 2002 begins, and our FINAL months to have our Rotary License Plates made are here, I have a bit of anxiety inside of me. The entire time I have spent working with getting this legislature passed, building our RLP website, and informing the Rotarians of this project, has been very positive. However, as our time draws close to us getting our 7500 applications turned in, I wonder "how" we are going to get it done. I was told that "one Maggie in the state, can not get this project done." I don't like to wonder if there is any truth to that statement.
I shouldn't worry. EVERY district is on board. EVERYONE I talk to is positive about the project.
The reason for my hesitations is that I continually find that MANY Rotarians are NOT AWARE of this project, or of its' benefits to the CLUBS and to Rotary.
I am now reaching out to EVERYONE who reads this update to join our RLP Team. Help us "spread the word". Help us, help you, help your club get exposure, new members and more dollars to do community service.
Even if your only job is to ask someone in your club if they have turned in their RLP application, that will be a significant help. If they have any questions that you can not answer, please direct them to Rlicenseplates@aol.com.
If your club would like to schedule a RLP Speaker, let us know. That can be arranged.
The RLP Team is here to help YOU and YOUR CLUB.
We will ALL be so proud as the years go by, and we see cars driving around our state, carrying the RLP billboard.
To know and to receive this added exposure and the EXTRA $$$ to do more community service will make us all so thankful that WE helped make it happen.
